XNet 1.0 is a faceless scriptable application which provides a convenient way of controlling TCP sockets. You can, for example, check your incoming email programmatically. You must install the "XOSL.framework" (included) to make it work. Place it in "/Library/Frameworks" or "~/Library/Frameworks", and you're ready.
