With the SMS Mac Scripting Application you can send an SMS from a script. It can be combined with iCal or Mail, for example. Send yourself an SMS to remind you of an important meeting. Use it on a Mac OS X server to send you SMS alerts. You need to have an account with SMS Mac: http://www.smsmac.com.
Version Changes: Release 2.1: You can now define a separate email address to receive your delivery reports and since version 2.0 we support Group SMS.
